Lemongrass (infused and removed)

With care — Allowed by some hospitals and not others, or allowed only prepared a particular way.

How to prepare it

Bruise the stalk and simmer it to flavour the liquid, then lift it out whole. Never chop it, and never eat it.

Where hospitals differ

No leaflet names lemongrass. It is treated like an infused herb, which the stricter leaflets restrict when chopped.
